Sith Imperium
The Sith Imperium has been in the making for nearly a hundred and fifty years. It is not the creation of one man, but the legacy of events from before the birth of Darth Insipid, and moments which have taken place throughout his lengthened lifespan.
Born from remnants of nearly every Sith group to grace the galaxy since the death of Darth Sidious, its rulers have been fighting what they describe as a 'Shadow War' over the legacy of the dark side for decades. The years following the Battle of Endor were realised by Darth Insipid to be not a duel between a resurgent light and withering dark, but a wave of in-fighting between the Sith no more potent nor important to the overall Sith legacy than the time following the Battle of Rakata Prime or even after the untimely demise of Darth Ruin - a 'Shadow War' seemingly won by Darth Krayt and his One Sith.
Taking the malcontents from the One Sith, the science of the Maleficarum, the rogues of the Dominion of Darkness, the pupils if the Acolytes of Darkness, the remnants of the Lost Tribe and the Gorog - and teachings from many more sources - the Sith Emperor has taken nearly a century to create his Imperium from those loyalists he has personally chosen from each of his enemies and pawns and tools.
With the weapons and soldiers that once formed the Empire of the Hand deep in the Unknown Regions, the Sith Emperor has usurped the legacy of the Dark and now, with his strength marshalled at long last, the real Shadow War is about to begin - a wave of darkness approaching the frontiers of the known galaxy and consuming every power in its path.
The Darkness has Returned.
